Journal: Feb. 18 – San Juan, PR
We head to Pinones, Leo and I. We’re going to spend the day under the shade of a palm tree and relax. I get a whole coconut to quench my thirst. We bought it from a roadside stand from a tanned Puerto Rican who sliced the top of the coconut off with a small machete. The water at Pinones is even more clear than by the forts in San Juan.
The boardwalk is rickety and wild hens and roosters ran around the palm tree line.
Later we head towards the dock and pier to look at the cruise ships and large fishing boats.
